Bus station Ljubljana is the capital station and the largest one in Slovenia, which has 33 bus platforms. It is located in the Liberation Front Square, just the opposite of the main railway station. It dates from 1961, while it was established in 1980 as an independent company. On average, station receives about 1,000 buses and 10,000 passengers annually.

Booking tickets on intercity and international passenger traffic can be made for up to 30 days in advance.

Purchase of the tickets is possible 2 hours before the departure of buses in intercity transport and up to 6 hours before the bus departure in international traffic; during the school and public holidays booking is possible up to 24 hours before the scheduled beginning of the trip.

Bookings can be made up in the INFO center from Monday to Saturday from 7:00 to 20:00 pm, and on Sundays and during the holidays from 8:00 to 20:00 pm. Also, the INFO center provides all kinds of information about the various discounts for students.

Locker rooms for passengers are available from Monday to Saturday from 5:00 to 21:30 pm, while on Sundays and during the holidays from 5:30 to 21:30 pm.
