During the New Year holidays, Montenegro once again becomes the center of tourism, both for local guests and for guests from the region.
Most cities on the coast, but also some from the central region, will organize holiday programs in the city squares. Musical spectacles, children's programs, bazaars... have been announced.
The biggest stars who will perform in Montenegro are Zdravko Čolić who will perform on December 31 in Kotor, Lepa Brena who will perform in Tivat, and the concerts of Saša Matić, Jelena Rozga and Toni Cetinski have also been announced.

A three-day musical spectacle to welcome 2026 is being prepared by the municipality of Herceg Novi. Six regional music stars will perform on Nikola Đurkovića Square: 31.12. guests will be entertained by Haris Džinović and Neda Ukraden, while on January 1, Željko Samardžić and Vesna Zmijanac will perform. The following holiday evening, on January 2, Dženan Lončarević and the Tropico band will perform.
Already traditionally, in anticipation of the holidays, there will be a children's New Year's celebration with a rich program dedicated to the youngest, while January 1 will be brightened by a concert by the Herceg Novi Chamber Orchestra, which will perform at noon on the square in front of the city's Tora.
Kotor

Kotor becomes the center of unforgettable holiday magic this winter as well. Under the auspices of the Kotor Winter Fest 2025 event, from November 29 to January 31, the city will live in the rhythm of festive colors, music, and events.
The festive program begins on November 29 at the Gradska Riva, with the ceremonial lighting of the New Year's lights and the performance of the global DJ star - Fedde Le Grand. Also, the world-famous DJ Kurd Maverick will close the New Year holiday program in Kotor.
During the Kotor Winter Festival, visitors can expect a rich music program that combines the sounds of the region, modern genres and the energy of the most sought-after performers.
The main star of the New Year 2026 program in Kotor is the legendary band Parni Valjak, whose hits will echo through the walls of the Old Town on the night of December 31. Already on January 1, the replay of the welcome brings a new musical spectacle - a concert by Marija Šerifović, one of the biggest musical divas of the Balkans. Before Marija's concert, it will be interesting to watch the performance of young Jakov Jozinović, a teenage star whose performances win hearts throughout the region.

During the Kotor Winter Fest, a New Year's bazaar will be organized on the waterfront, with a rich gastronomic offer, handicrafts and drinks, while a children's bazaar with workshops, elves and Santa Claus will be organized in the city park.
Tivat

New Year's Eve in Tivat will be accompanied by a concert by a great diva from the Balkans - Lepa Brena will perform in front of Tivat residents and guests on the craziest night.
The holidays in Tivat will be marked by four concerts by popular musicians from the region. The celebration program is opened by Saša Matić with a performance on December 30. Jelena Rozga will perform on the first day of the New Year, and Toni Cetinski will close the program with a performance on January 2.
Budva

As in previous years, the Municipality of Budva organizes a traditional and exclusive New Year's program, which makes it a prestigious destination for staying during the winter holidays. The most important musical names of the region performed at Trg slikara in Budva, organized by the Tourism Organization of the Municipality of Budva, a pioneer in organizing prestigious musical events in Montenegro.
Along with the announced fireworks that will accompany the program every night, Mirza Selimović, Boban Rajović, Jovana Pajić and Peđa Medenica will perform in Budva on December 29, and Zana, Tap 011 and Marko Louis on December 30. Teodora Šćepanović, Emina Jahović and Aco Pejović will perform for New Year's Eve on December 31. The following evening, on January 1, "Perper", "Chegi" and "Bijelo dugme" will perform in Budva.
The program for January 2 consists of performances by Breskvica, Relja Popović and Nikolija Jovanović. On January 3, Sergej Ćetković, Sara Jo and the group "Lexington" will perform, and on January 4, tribute bands dedicated to the music of David Bowie, ABBA and AC/DC will perform.
During the seven-day New Year's program, the people of Budva and their guests will be able to count on a program dedicated to the youngest, carnivals and classical music concerts.
Bar

The biggest star of the holiday program in Bar this year is Zdravko Čolić. He will perform on the first night of the upcoming year, and it will also be the third performance of Čolić in front of Barani and guests. He previously performed in 2019 and 2023.
The New Year's program in Bar will begin on December 29 with the performance of regional star Aleksandra Prijović. The following evening, December 30, Nataša Bekvalac will perform.
The "90s Party" will introduce Barane and their guests into the New Year 2026. The most popular performers, who marked the nineties in the Balkans - Moby Dick, Funky G, Beat Street, Twins, DR Iggy, Duck, Ivan Gavrilović, Lina, Ella B and Zorana Pavić will perform.
All New Year's concerts will be held on the plateau in front of the "Topolica" Sports Hall, while a rich children's program during the duration of the New Year's event will be held during the day on the King Nikola Promenade
After Čolić's concert on January 1st, for the very end of the New Year's happening in Bar, Aco Pejović's performance was organized on January 2nd. Local bar musicians - Akademia, Gula and Katapult, Andrea Demirović, Dino Beharović and many others - will be engaged for pre-groups and accompanying music.
During the five days of the program, on the Promenade of King Nikola, the little ones will enjoy the Children's New Year, and in front of the Topolica Sports Hall, you can expect phenomenal entertainment.
Cetinje

The Montenegrin capital, Cetinje, is organizing the holiday event "New Year's Story in the Capital" again this year, which will last from December 19 to January 7, 2026, at Dvorski trg and Balšića Pazar.
The fourth "New Year's Story in the Capital", the largest holiday bazaar in Montenegro, will be marked by a rich musical program that will include performances by local and regional performers, tribute bands and DJs.
During the three weeks of the event, the Prljavo kazalište, Peđa Jovanović, Saša Kovačević, Tijana Bogićević, Jakov Jozinović, Indira Forza, Knez, Jadranka Barjaktarović, Leon Lasić - Tribute Oliver & Džiboni, Edis Agić will perform in Cetinje, and the 90s Party will also be organized in the capital.
The accompanying programs will be enriched by the performances of local bands and DJs who will bring a great atmosphere and extra energy to Dvorski trg every night.
On Cetinje, visitors will come across numerous prefabricated houses with a variety of food, drinks, souvenirs and holiday decorations. They can also expect a free skating rink on Dvorski trg, and a rich children's program at Balšića Pazar, which will be transformed into a children's town with performances, workshops and concerts for the youngest citizens.
Podgorica

New Year's Eve in the capital of Montenegro will be organized as part of the Podgorica Market event, which will last from December 19 to January 8. The richest music program so far has been announced, and the event will be opened by Nataša Bekvalac with a performance on Independence Square on December 19, on Podgorica Municipality Day.
"Osvajači" will perform on December 21, and two days later Jelena Tomašević will perform in front of Podgorica residents and guests. Tijana Bogićević will follow on December 25, Alena Islamović on December 27 and Al Dina on December 29. The audience will sing and dance with the Bosnian band SARS on December 30.
New Year's Eve in Podgorica will be with the performances of Serbian musicians, Sara Jo and Marko Louis.
