In anticipation of the New Year's celebrations, the holiday program in Montenegrin municipalities was defined. In some, such as Budva and Podgorica, the program is already underway. The National Tourism Organization of Montenegro says that it is ready to welcome the winter season and the New Year holidays.
For the upcoming winter season, Montenegro has prepared a variety of offers for fans of winter sports, as well as unforgettable New Year's Eves in all cities. Every local tourist organization has prepared concerts by popular regional performers, fun events and accompanying content that will contribute to the festive mood, said Milena Vujacic from the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro.

Budva is a municipality where the holiday program started back in November. The event "Be in Budva" lasts a total of 45 days, and consists of children's workshops, masquerades, concerts by local musicians... The main program of the event begins on December 30, with the performance of the "Akademia" band from Bar, followed by the "Lexington" band and Haris Džinović. Angelina will open the program on New Year's Eve, while Vlado Georgiev will sing for the locals and guests of Budva at the turn of the year 2025. The following evening, January 1, Dino Merlin will perform in the town square.
The fifth edition of the Podgorica Bazaar was officially opened on December 16 at Independence Square and will last until January 15. Interesting programs take place in several places throughout the center of Podgorica, with the main program on Independence Square. A musical program was organized every day during the event. On the opening day, Sevdah Baby and Ivana Vladović performed, two days later Belgrade's Van Gogh, while for Podgorica Day on December 19, the group Galija performed. The welcome program will consist of performances by Montenegrin performers and bands, and the program starts at 1 p.m. with performances by Kuba, Kira band, Four seasons, L'ombelico, vocal-instrumental band Tetra and Band Crveno i crno.
On the first evening of the coming year, the regionally known musical group Hari Mata Hari will be performing, and on January 6, a concert by Dejan Petrović and the Big Band will be held.
The New Year's program in Herceg Novi begins on December 28, with a concert by Leontina and Tijana Dapčević, and continues tomorrow with a concert by Radet Šerbedžija. On New Year's Eve, Voyage and Svetlana Ceca Ražnatović will perform on the stage of the Igalo Hotel, and guests will be entertained the following evening by Breskvica and the group Crvena Jabuka. The holiday program in Herceg Novi ends with a big concert by Petr Graš on January 8.
On the last day of 2024, Tivat organizes a traditional regatta, while guests will see off the new year with another performance by the bar band Akademia, followed by the performance of the star of the evening, the legendary Zdravko Čolić. On the first day of 2025, Jelena Rozga will perform, while the holiday season will close with a concert by Jelena Tomašević on January 13, 2025.

The festive atmosphere in Kotor this winter begins with the Kotor Winter Fest event, which began on December 1 and will last until February 1. The New Year's program in Kotor will open with a concert by Dejan Petrović and the Big Band on December 30. For the welcome night, the band Zabranjeno fušenje will perform in Kotor, while on the first day of the New Year, Kotor residents and guests will be warmed up by the energetic performance of the Dubioze collective. Another big name has been announced for the evening of January 2, when the Parni valjak group's concert is planned.
The New Year's Happening in the Bar will last from December 28 to January 2. On the first evening of the happening, the bar band Grimm, Andrea Demirović and Marko Louis will hold a concert. Saša Matić's concert is expected the following day, while Dino Beharović and Milica Pavlović will perform on December 30. Barani and visitors enter the New Year with a concert by Dragana Mirković, while Aleksandra Prijović will perform on the first evening of 2025. The Bar happening ends on January 2 with the performance of Aco Pejović.
The southernmost Montenegrin municipality, Ulcinj, organizes the traditional Sweet December event again this year, from December 21 to 31, with a rich entertainment program for all generations.
From December 20 to January 7, the event New Year's Story in Prijestonica will be held in Cetinje. Visitors can expect a New Year's bazaar, a free skating rink and a carousel, and the event will be opened by a concert by Marija Šerifović. The people of Cetinje announce numerous performances by musicians from the region - Colonia, Sergej Ćetković, Aleksandra Radović, Sara Jo and Vanna, who will close this New Year's program.

It is worth reminding that we also have popular ski centers at our disposal - Hajla, Durmitor, Bjelisica and Vučje. The price of a one-day ski pass at the Kolašin 1600 ski center for children up to 14 years old is 16.5 euros, while for adults it is 25 euros. A seven-day ski pass for children is 75.5 euros, and for adults 105 euros. Guests over 65 receive a 50% discount.
Since December, bus transportation from the airport in Podgorica has been established. A direct connection with Podgorica Airport has been established, for now, with the capital, Bar and Ulcinj.
